1914 Iron cross clasp 1st class by Paul Meybauer, Berlin. Tombak constructed spange with soldered on set up. very early unmarked Meybauer clasp, so called 1st pattern variant with scalloped date bar. Clasp in very good condition with small signs of age. No repairs, no damage. 

This first pattern spange, only produced in the earliest stage of the war was awarded in 1939 and during the Blitzkrieg, afterwards the second pattern was produced widely to replace these early pieces. 

Premium piece, extremely hard to find this Meybauer example!
