General assault badge in bronze(!!) by F.W. Assmann & Sohn, Lüdenscheid. Zink construction with integral set up. Maker marked on the reverse with the maker mark and mold number of Assmann "3". Very good to excellent condition with all bronze finish intaxt. No repairs, no damage.

Very uncommon so called "bronze grade" general assault badge. Altough these bronzed badges were never officially produced some of these pieces pop up now and then. Several makers were involved in making these of which Assmann was one of them.
