General assault badge in bronze(!!) by F.W. Assmann & Sohn, Lüdenscheid. Steel, magnetic construction with soldered on set up. Maker marked on the reverse with the maker mark "A" on the middle of the swastika. Mint condition with all bronze finish intaxt. No repairs, no damage.

Very uncommon so called "bronze grade" general assault badge. Altough these bronzed badges were never officially produced some of these pieces pop up now and then. Several makers were involved in making these of which Assmann was one of them.
