Gebirgsjäger paratrooper grouping to Obergefreiter Ernst Wenk, member of the Gebirgsjäger regiment 136, and one of the very few Luftwaffe qualified army paratroopers. Oberjäger Wenk most likely jumped  on the air fields of Bardufoss and Tromsø during the Norway campaign. For the jumps he received the Luftwaffe paratrooper qualification badge and the iron cross 2nd class. Later in the war Wenk served the 12 Kompanie of the Geb. Jäger Reg. 137 and was wounded on 3.5.1942 probably in the Lappland area.

The group contains the award documents of the paratrooper badge, the iron cross 2nd class award document, the wound badge in black award document and a very rare remembrance document of the 12 Komapnie, Geb. Jäger Reg. 137. On the document a bull with Edelweiss  and ribbon "Polen, Norwege, Russland".

With the documents the very early design IMME paratrooper badge in early case. Paratrooper badge in excellent condition, iron cross 2nd class, unknown early design and wound badge in black.

INCREDIBLY rare grouping of one of the very few mountain troopers that received the Luftwaffe paratrooper badge!!! Absolute premium and first like this we have ever had!!
