1914 iron cross 1st class screwback variant by Otto Schickle, Pforzheim. One piece, magnetic construction soldered on screw wire. Copper coated iron core to apply the black finish. Unmarked, typical design and screwback device from the Schickle companies. Large, star disc, very good condition with soldered on cilinder. Light worn condition. No repairs, no damage. 

Very attractive and very detailed example with unique Schickle coned inner cilinder like the early style 1939 1st class clasp!
