Luftwaffe pilot badge in silver by "OM". Nickle silver construction with rivetted tnickle silver eagle. Maker marked on the reverse with the still mysterious "OM" marking (some speculations to a Meybauer connection). Variant with cut out between the legs. VERY attractive light worn condition with a beautiful overal patina build up, completely untouched example. The worn areas show the shining nickle silver pop out from underneath the top finish and patina. Reverse with scratched with owners name "Helmuth Ludwig" from Darmstadt. No repairs, no damage. This early badge comes in its original case of issue as it was found.
