Luftwaffe Soldbuch to  Oberwachtmeister Peter Lüggens, member of the Flak Regiment 11 as part of the 12. Flak Division that fought in France in 1940 where he was already given the EKII for his bravery. The unit was then later send to the Eastern front, central Russia, here he was awarded the Luftwaffe flak badge. Lüggens got heavily wounded by a shrapnel on 29.7.1944, probably in the area of Modlin - Lomscha where the Divison was at. Receiving the wound badge and placed back in action in the beginning of 1945 he was placed in the s. Flakabt 503 in Linz to protect the Linz-Steyr-Wels area.
