Luftwaffe pilot badge by F.W. Assmann, Lüdenscheid. Tombac constructed wreath with riveted tombac eagle and soldered on set up. Maker marked with the Assmann maker mark on the reverse of the eagle. Very well preserved finish on both wreath and eagle. Covered under a thick layer of black patina. No repairs, no damage.

Very nice early to mid war pilot badge. While the badge is in great condition, the patina gives it that lovely aged look.
