Close combat clasp in bronze grouping to Uffz. Gert Reusch, member of the Grenadier Regiment 78 as part of the 26. Infanterie-Division. Awarded with the iron cross and later IAB silver (very nice award document style) for the battles in Kursk and Orel 1943. On 6.9.1944 awaded with the close combat clasp in bronze (document signed by Honor roll recipient (Ehrenblattspange) Oberst Hans Fromberger who was the commander of the Regiment.  26. Infanterie-Division was reformed just a few days later into the 26. Volksgrenadier-Division and send to the Western Front. The Division saw heavy action in the Ardennes and this is probably were Uffz Rusch was captured and stayed in French captivity later on. 

The grouping contains the the award documents of Reusch, some extra documents about the NCO school and some capture papers from 1945.
