Wehrpass to H. Kroker, member of the MG-Btl 8, S.R.104 (Schützen-Regiment 104) as part of the 21. Pz Division. The huge battle calendar in the Wehrpass witnesses all the battles Kroker took part in. After Poland and France he was sent to the Africa to join the Afrikakorps. The battle calendar shows many smaller cities along the North coast of Africa and of course the battle of Tobruk. He was awarded with the EKII, German Italian Africa medal en the General assault badge for the Africa campaign. Kroker got KIA during the Battle of Bir Temrad, Afrika on 20.4.1942, about 3 km north west of "Bir Temrad" and was burried in the Kriegsgräberstätte in Tobruk (source: volksbund).

The Wehrpass (Zweitschrift as the original was lost possibly in Africa) was sent to the family with the special KIA white cover, a photo of the grave of Kroker and a portrait photo made locally in tropical outfit.
