1939 Grand Cross of the Iron Cross by Rudolf Souval, Wien. Three piece construction with "800" silver frame and magnetic iron core . Maker marked with the LDO code of Souval "L/58" on the top of the frame + silver content mark "800". Very nice large loop also with silver "800" content mark. Outstanding quality piece with beautiful detailed frame and quality matt black core. Frame with original factory polishing. An impressive 63,63 cm from arm to arm. The cross comes with its matching original piece of thick 58mm black/white ribbon. No repairs, no damage. 

Altough this piece is very old, it goes without saying that this cross was produced after 1945 by the Souval company. It was intended for veterans and the first collectors to complete their collection of awards. A rare opporunity to acquire such a cross. Very impressive size and incredible real silver make!!!
