Kuban shield with black backing cloth for panzer troops. Bronzed steel construction with soldered on prongs. Reverse with original backplate and backing paper. Unissued condition, perfect bronzed obverse. No repairs, no damage. 

Extremely rare and sought after shield. Not to be compared with normal army Kuban shield!!! Only very few of these were ever awarded to panzer troops at the Kuban bridge head!
