PzKpfw V "Panther" COMMANDER Soldbuch to Feldwebel I. Steininger, Pz. Rgt 33 and Pz. Abt. 51, 9Pz. Div. . Soldbuch in very good condition with black wrapper photo inside. All decorations nicely written in. On page 14 special entry "Verwendung : Kommandant Pz. V."Steininger fought with Pz Rgt 33 through Belgium and France (9. Pz. Div) and was one of the first panzer crew member receiving the panzer assault badge in silver, early date 10.6.1944 in Molles France!! Together with EKII in 1940. Later awarded with EKI, east front medal and in 1943 wound badge in black for 31b wound caused by a Russian schrapnell blowing off his right finger. The Pz Abt 51 was attached to the Panzer Brigade 10 which fought in the West in 1944. Steininger got captured on 27.2.1945 and stayed in French captivity (booklet/pass with the group). 

The Soldbuch comes with the rare 1940 PAB Silver award document, EK1 document and WB in black award document. It comes with a separate photo of Schilinger also wearing the Panzer shooting lanyard, and three other passes (Austrian and POW).
