Luftwaffe Jagdgeschwader 53 grouping to Uffz Lodde, member of the Stab Jagdgeschwader 53 "Pik As". Lodde part of the Stab and ground personel of this succesful unit was awarde with the EKII, KVKII, Africa medal and Afrika cuff title. On top he was awarded with the rare "Staffelabzeichen" of the unit., Lodde was KIA on one of the last remaining airfields in Tunesia during an air raid in 1943. 

The grouping contains:

- Two letters from Geschwaderkommodore Günther Freiherr von Maltzahn, Oak leaf / Knights cross winner and ace with 68 aerial kills! Both lettters hand signed. 

- Iron cross award certificate of the EK2 + stone mint EK2 by Wachtler & Lange, most likely send posthume. 

- KVK2 with swords award document + KVK2

- German / Italian Afrika campaign medal award document + medal 

- Ultra rare award document for the JG53 Staffelabzeichen

- Period photos and press photos. 

- Afrika cuff title stone mint camel hair type + award document

This rare JG53 grouping distiuishes itself from many other groups as it was untouched with all original mint awards and very rare award documents. Premium grouping!
