Army / heer DKiG grouping to OFeldw. E. Dursch, member of the Infanterie Regiment 290 (later Grenadier Regiment 290) as part of the 98. Infanterie Division. Dursch, already awarded the Iron cross 2nd class and infanterie assault badge in silver for the Blitzkrieg in 1940  was later sent to the eastern Front. Late 1941 he was awarded with the Iron cross 1st class for the battle of Moskau. On 14.4.1943 he was finally awarded with the German cross in gold as result of heroic actions against the red army. Not only he was awarded with this prestigious award, he was also listed on the Honor roll of the 98. Infanterie Division. For this listing he received a very special made document that mentioned exactly were he received the listing and German cross for: Dursch was able to take out an enemy battle group with his heavy machine gun unit in the area of Djuki, Sout of  Gagarin (Smolensk) and East of Vjasma during the retreat from Moksau.

Very nicely displayed and researched grouping. Photos and documents can easily be taken out.

Fantastic army combat group to a brave Oberfeldwebel!
