General assault badge in silver 25 assaults by Josef Feix, Gablonz. Copper coated zinc constructed wreath with riveted copper coated zinc eagle. Maker marked with the "JFS" logo on the reverse of the wreath. Excellent, nearly mint condition with beautiful untouched patina. Aluminium rivets in top condition and nicely tight... but unfortunately one is missing. No repairs, no damage. 

Clearly a very early example of Josef Feix with a VERY high quality finish. Very hard to find!!!
