Iron cross 1st class by C.F. Zimmermann, Pforzheim. Three piece construction with magnetic, iron core and soldered on cylinder. Maker marked with the LDO code of Zimmermann "L/52" above the retaining needle on the reverse. Complete with screw back system. Good condition with light signs of age. Core paint nicely intact with just some very minor paint loss on the swastika. No repairs, no damage.
