Studio photo of night fighter ace Ludwig Becker, with Knight's Cross, German Cross, Front Flight Clasp and Iron Cross First Class. Postcard format, very good condition with minor signs of age. On the back "Oberleutnant... Ritterkreuz... Gefallen 1943". Becker went on to become a Captain (Hauptmann) in 1943 and received the Oakleaves of the Iron Cross on the 26th of February 1943. He went missing in action the same day. They were last seen 10 km north of Schiermonnikoog, an island in the Waddensea in the Netherlands. He was declared dead on the 14th of March 1949.  Agfa Paper.
