Wehrpass to Ogefreiter Georg Limbeck, member of the Grenadier Regiment. 226 as part of the 79. Infanterie Division. Wounded on 1.7.1942 by genade shrapnell in the area of Oskol (Lawy) in Russia and awarded with the wound badge in black. After the transformation into Grenadier Regiment 226 Limbeck was still at the Eastern front and now moving towards Stalingrad. Just before Stalingrad after the unit was in Kalatsch, Limbeck was wounded again on 10.10.1943 and now received the wound badge in silver. For his bravery at the Eatsren front he was awarded with th eiorn cross 2nd class and the Infantry assaul tbadge in silver! Wehrpass in excellent condition.
