Soldbuch Karl Besenhofer, member of the Deutsche-Arabische Bataillon Nr 845. According to one of the wounded tags that came inside of the soldbuch Besenhofer was attached to the Grenadier- (Führernachwuchs-) Regiment 1239 in 1945, part of the  as part of the Panzergrenadier-Division Kurmark defending East Germany and Berlin. Besenhofen was wounded in action in the Berlin area on 5.4.1945 by a grenade shrapnell in the arm.  Besenhofer was wounded earlier in the war at the eastern front as well and was awarded with the eastern front medal and the wound badge in black. One wounded card shows he was wounded as Schützen of "DER 268" on 24.12.1941by a shrapnell, the other 2.3.1945 and the last 5.4.1945 was written in the Soldbuch. The Soldbuch contains one of the "holy grail" entries: unit patch "Palme u. Sonne" being the "palm tree and rising sun" armshield worn by the Arabian volunteers.

Incredibly rare Soldbuch so a very special unit. Soldbuch complete and in very good condition with super uniform photo inside.
