Iron cross 1st class by Friedrich Orth, Wien. Three piece construction with non-magnetic (!!!) core and soldered on set up. Vaulted appearance. Unmarked. Very good condition with beautiful overall patina. No damage, no repairs.

The backplate is very thick, rendering the cross very heavy, like Deschler crosses.

Very interesting and untouched early cross!!
