Kriegsmarine Frontspange in bronze. As always handcrafted on board of the ship. Copper construction with crude soldered on setup.

The Marine-Frontspange was instituted on the 19th of November 1944 by the high commander of the Kriegsmarine, Karl Dönitz. In order to be eligible for this clasp, the recipient had to fulfill the conditions for any of the Kriegsmarine war badges in fivefold! As this badge was instituted very late into the war, no serial production was ever done by any of the official award suppliers of the German army. All the clasps in existence are handmade by the crews.
