Three award documents to Stabsfeldwebel Willi Kell 11.Gren. Rgt. (mot) 8. Award documents for Iron Cross 2nd class, Wound badge in black and Infantry assault badge in bronze. Very good condition with minor signs of age. No damage. The initial Grenadier Regiment 8 was destroyed in the battle of Stalingrad together with the rest of the 3rd Infantry division to which it belonged. It was raised again in France in 1943. The regiment fought in Italy as part of the 3rd Panzer Grenadier division until end of August 1944. In September 1944 the division was sent to the western front in the region of Metz (Lorraine, France) and later Aachen. The wound sustained by Willi Kell was sustained in the region of Metz.
