Three award documents to Unteroffizier Josef Schwägerl, 3./Infantry regiment 20. Award documents for Iron cross 2nd and 1st class and Infantry assault badge. Additionally, a registered letter to his wife sending the award document for the Iron Cross 1st class and a certificate stating that the closed package which he carried did not contain contrabande nor loot. Very good condition with minor signs of age. No damage. The 20th infantry regiment was part of the 10th Motorized infantry division (later Panzergrenadier division). It was destroyed in August 1944 in Moldavia, reconstituted and destroyed again in Poland in January 1945.
