Infantry assault badge in silver by Karl Wurster K.G., Markneukirchen. Zinc, tombac coated construction with soldered on set up. Maker marked on the reverse with the (ramains of the) initial of Wurster "w" Very good condition with nearly all finish preserved thanks to the tombac coating. No repairs, no damage. Extremely rare badge! This is the first zinc IAB production by Wurster, still in the same mold used for the solid tombac badges.
