Panzer assault badge in silver by A.S. Zinc construction with crimped in set up. Maker marked on the reverse with the initials A.S. Very good condition with minor signs of age. No repairs, no damage. 

The hollow zinc AS was only produced for a very short time. The production, similar to its early tombac conterpart took a lot of effort and was in the end very fragile. A lot of these badges then also broke during their service. This example's set up remained completely intact!!
