Soldbuch to Arnold Maat, member of Infanterie Regiment 251 and later Pz. Jg. Kp. 1183 fighting in the Nijmegen area, Boxmeer area in Holland. The unit later found it's way to the Eifel and so the Battle of the Bulge in 1945. It was part of the 1. Fallschirmarmee at the Western front during 1944-1945. Page 3 clearly shows a promotion entry on 20.4.1945 still within Pz. Jg. Kp. 1183! Maat was awarded with the wound badge in black for his injury in France 1940; Eastern front, Infantry assault badge and iron cross 2nd class (83.Inf Div) for his merits on the Eastern front. 

The Soldbuch is complete with all pages and uniform photo. Small signs of water damage but everything still readable. 

Outstanding and rare 1940-1945 Western front combat Soldbuch. Pz. Jg. Kp. 1183 or Pz Jagd Sturm Geschütz Kompanie 1183 was a very small and rare tank destruction unit that was in possession of the small and freshly produced "Hetzer" panzers!
