1914 Iron cross 1st class by Otto Schickle, Pforzheim. Vaulted, one piece constructed, non-magnetic cross. Unmarked, very early piece (factory vaulted!) by the Schickle company. Original black paint completely gone. Very good condition with small signs of wear. On the reverse classic Schickle set up with the broad pin and typical Schickle catch. No repairs, no damage. 

These one piece crosses are very prone to the black paint flaking off. Probably the owner was fed up with that and removed the paint entirely.

Very uncommon and very early war non-magnetic cross variant with a great look to it!!
