Commemoration coin 21.03.1933 Day of Potsdam. 34mm Heavy Nickel Silver strike. Unmarked. Very good condition with minor signs of age. No damage, no repairs.

The day of Potsdam was the day on which the Reichstag (German parliament) was solemnly opened after the Nazi's came to power.

The coin mentions 2 dates : 30. Jan 1933, Reichschancellor Adolf Hitler and 21. of March 1933 Tag der Aufbruch (The day of departure/new beginning). The latter was meant to portray the unity between the old empire and the new Nazi regime. 

A beautiful and less common authentic piece!
