War merit cross 1st class by C.F. Zimmermann, Pforzheim. Zinc construction with soldered on screwback cylinder and anti-rotation device pin. Complete with original and matching screw. Maker marked with the LDO code of Zimmermann "L/52" on the reverse. Very good, unworn condition with almost all silver finish vaporized. No repairs, no damage.
