Hermann Göring Division grouping to Leutnant "Franzl". The grouping contains the Hermann Göring Leutnant shoulderboards of the slip-on type, a Luftwaffe Ground-assault Badge by Rudolf Karneth, Gablonz in very good condition, an Austrian Annexation medal (the actual one from the photo!!!) and two pictures of Franzl. the entire set is in very good condition without any repairs, nor damage.

Rare and interesting Hermann Göring Division grouping with the very rare HG officer shoulder boards and the actual identical awards as seen on the photo! One can see clearly the wide pin from the ground assault badge and the specific single mount rumples of the ribbon.

The text on the photo's reads :

1) Lieutenant photo : "Franzl"

2) NCO photo ; "Franzl mit Ritterkreuz?" ("Franzl with Knights Cross of the Iron Cross?"... of course it's an Iron Cross 2nd class)

The real Christian Name of the soldier is Franz. Franzl means 'little Franz', which is a loving and caring twist to names in Germany, especially in the south.
