Iron cross 1st class Schinkel "Straight 9" by unknown maker. Three part construction with magnetic, iron core and soldered on set up. So called "Straight 9" variant because the 9's have a straight lower part instead of the normal rounded one. Unmarked. Very good condition with some signs of age. No repairs, no damage. 

Beautiful straight 9 cross! Extremely rare!

These crosses are very early war crosses and are found only once every couple of years. Much more difficult to find than round 3's, Meybauer Schinkels or Deumer Schinkels. (that are also difficult to find)
