Iron cross 1st class by Paul Meybauer, Berlin. Three part construction with magnetic, iron core. The cross is very early and thus unmarked. Two piece screw back on the reverse with small typical Meybauer made mini cross pressure plate. Top screw with patent code "DRGM 653146" marking. Very good, worn condition with minor signs of age. No damage, no repairs.

This is one of the rarest 1939 Iron Crosses 1st class! Much rarer than the round 3 and Meybauer Schinkel crosses, maybe even harder to find than the straight 9 cross!
