Iron Cross 1st class by Fritz Zimmermann, Stuttgart. Three piece construction with magnetic, iron core. Maker marked with the PK code of Zimmermann "6." on the pin. Very good condition with some minor signs of age. The frame still shows almost all of the polished sides. The core shows some limited paint loss. No repairs, no damage.

Fritz Zimmermann crosses are much more uncommon than the usual 'suspects' such as Klein & Quenzer, C.F. Zimmermann, Souval, Orth and other B.H. Mayers.
