Iron cross 1st class by Schauerte & Höhfeld, Lüdenscheid. Three part construction with soldered on screw back set up. Maker marked with the LDO code of S&H "L/54"on the reverse. Excellent condition with fully black core and lightly patinated frame. Minor signs of age on the back. No repairs, no damage.
