Private photo of an SS-Totenkopf Truppführer with freshly awarded EKII. Size 10,3 x 7,4cm. Period Agfa-Brovira paper. Very good condition. 

Very nice early war photo, with the early dark green collar uniform (M36) and the helmet with fully intact decal (this helmet had without any doubt two decals). This photo was taken immediately after the award ceremony of the Iron Cross Second Class. The day of the award was the only day in which the cross itself was worn on the field uniform. This photo was most probably taken during the campaign in France in 1940.
