Life saving medal. Military life saving medal "Für Rettung aus Gefahr". Fantastic, sharp silver medal strike with national eagle and swastika on the obverse and text on the reverse. Not marked on the rim. Medal is in very good condition showing small traces of age and fantastic overal blackened patina. No repairs, no damage. The piece comes in its very rare and matching box of issue with textbook baby blue inlet and gild dotted base edge. With matching unissued yellow/orange and white ribbon. 

Super piece, a very underrated award for those who saved someone's life risking their own!!! Very hard to find small cased medal that's not often for sale!
