Private photo of 2 SS-Totenkopf Officers with the rare double Totenkopf collar tabs. Size 10,3 x 7,4cm. Period Agfa-Brovira paper. Very good condition. 

Both officers (an Untersturmführer and an Obersturmbannführer) wear enlisted men/NCO early M36 style tunics. This was done by many officers during the war, in order to preserve their privately purchased (and thus more expensive) uniforms from damage. The Obersturmbannführer wears the early war crusher cap, the shoulderboard covers and the ribbon to the 1914 iron cross 2nd class including the repeat clasp. This photo was most probably taken during the campaing in France of 1940.
