SS service medal for 12 year service. Silvered tombac construction with soldered on loop ring. Typical tear drop ring. Surface completely white frosted with polished highlights such as the borders, oak leafs and SS runes. Very crisp detailing up to the dot pattern on the cross arms. Outstanding, mint condition. No repairs, no damage. The medal comes with its rare and seltomly found blue ribbon with silver embroidered SS runes and original black box with silvered SS runes on the lid. Box with minor repair to the reverse hinge but in working condition. 

Outstanding textbook piece, one of the rarer medals of the Third Reich!!
