Soldbuch to Oberjäger R. Wawra, member of the Fallschirmjäger Regiment 11. Wawra part of the 14./FschJ-Rgt. 11 that was placed into position as anti tank unit. It stopped the allied fleet at Fosso di Vallelata and later fought the counter offensive in Carrocetto (near Anzio beach head). Wawra was heavily wounded in action on 14.2.1944. He received the wound badge in silver and later also the EKII for his actions against the American invasion fleet. The Soldbuch is complete and very well filled out. Very nice entry of camouflage jacket, pants ànd helmet cover!
