Award documents to Kurt Bartz, member of Fallschirm Jäger Regiment 6 as part of the 2. Fallschirmjäger Division. Bartz as medic or "Sanitäts-Obergefreiter" was heavily wounded on Christmas day 25.12.1944 and immediately received the wound badge in GOLD. Two weeks later he also reveived the iron cross 2nd class, hand signed by Generalleutnant Walter Lackner, commander of the 2. Fallschirmjäger Division. 

Interesting whether Bartz was wounded in Arnhem with the 2. FJD or in Hürtgenwald with FJR6.
