Soldbuch OGefr. J. Himmler member of the Grenadier-Ersatz- und Ausbildungs-Bataillon II./130. On 29.10.1944 Himmler was injured by grenade shrapnell (Soldbuch code 31b). He was awarded with the wound badge in silver and with the Iron Cross 2nd class. Himmler was still reequipped on 22.4.1945 with combat outfit.
From 1 November 1942, the two replacement battalions I./130 and II./130 were subordinate to Division 487. On 7 November 1942, all battalions were renamed Grenadier Replacement Battalion I/130, Reserve Grenadier Battalion I/130, Grenadier Replacement Battalion II/130 and Reserve Grenadier Battalion II/130 respectively. Both reserve battalions were transferred to Agram, Croatia, after the renaming. The replacement battalion II./130 had been in Steyr since 1943, also in Wehrkreis XVII. The Reserve Battalion I./130 was disbanded on 1 January 1944 when the 187th Reserve Division was reorganized into the 42nd Jäger Division, forming the 1st Battalion of the 40th Jäger Regiment. The Reserve Battalion II./130 was disbanded on 1 January 1944 when the 187th Reserve Division was reorganized into the 42nd Jäger Division, forming the Field Replacement Battalion 142. The Grenadier Replacement Battalion I./130 was expanded in January 1945 to the Grenadier Replacement and Training Battalion I./130. The Grenadier Replacement Battalion II./130 was also expanded in January 1945 to the Grenadier Replacement and Training Battalion II./130.
